OBITUARY

Inez Tomasi McClellan

Inez Tomasi McClellan age 90 of Fredericktown, PA died Friday, April 22, 2005 in Windsor Place, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born August 30, 1914 in Rockvale, CO the daughter of John and Amelia Tomasi. She had been a resident of Fredericktown for the past 86 years. She was a member of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish and the Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild of the church. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of Richeyville, PA. Mrs. McClelland was a graduate of East Bethlehem High School, California Teachers College now called California University of PA. She retired as a World Cultures School Teacher from the Beth Center Jr. High after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Old Trails BPW, Washington Co. Retired Teachers Association and the Pennsylvania Retired Teacher Association. She was a member of the Beth Center Senior Citizens and a correspondent for the Extra Edition Newspaper, Fredericktown. She was a member of the Fredericktown Women's Civic Club, a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary, East Bethlehem Twp. Fire Dept. She had been a past co-chairman of the Bingo Committee and had served as Vice President of the Ceramic Club. On Tuesday's she enjoyed serving meals on wheels. She was a volunteer at the Fredericktown Library. After her retirement she enjoyed visiting various countries, England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France, Belgium, Germany and other European Countries. She also enjoyed visiting the west coast, San Diego and San Jose. She was also thrilled to go through the Panama Canal. On November 16, 1935 she married Robert M. McClellan, Jr., who died on November 16, 1977. Surviving are two daughters; Patricia Krotzer of Pittsburgh, PA and Roberta L. Pear of Chicago, IL, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two sisters; Mary Cutler who is 100 years old of Cape Charles, VA and Ida Thorton of Morgan Hill, CA. and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are three sisters; Rose Molinari, Alphosene Salvador and Carmel Livingston.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 P.M. on Sunday and Monday in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, St. Michael Archangel Church, Fredericktown with Rev. Paul Grunebach as celebrant. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA. Family suggests memorials be made to the Fredericktown Area Public Library, P. O. Box 625, Fredericktown, PA 15333.
